Job Description

Why This Role Exists

 

This role exists to validate Salesforce application features with precision, ensuring that new changes behave correctly across UI, data, and automation layers.

This is primarily a functional QA role with growing platform awareness.

What You’ll Actually Do

  • Execute functional, regression, and smoke tests on Salesforce features

  • Validate Apex-driven and Flow-driven business logic through UI and data checks

  • Create and maintain clear, reproducible test cases

  • Perform data validation using SOQL (basic level)

  • Log high-quality defects with proper reproduction steps and evidence

  • Support UAT cycles and release validation

  • Work with developers and admins to understand feature behavior

  • Perform basic Salesforce configuration checks during testing (not ownership)

Requirements (Core)

  • 1–2 years of experience in QA/testing (Salesforce preferred)

  • Strong understanding of:

    • Functional testing fundamentals

    • Test case design and defect lifecycle

  • Basic familiarity with Salesforce platform navigation

  • Ability to validate data using basic SOQL queries

  • Good analytical thinking and attention to detail

  • Clear written communication for defect reporting

Good to Have (Platform & Admin Awareness)

  • Exposure to Salesforce Admin configurations such as:

    • Objects and fields

    • Page layouts

    • Validation rules

    • Basic Flow understanding

  • Familiarity with test management tools (Jira, TestRail, etc.)

  • Exposure to API testing tools (Postman)

You are not expected to independently configure the org.

 What Gets You Rejected Instantly

  • Writes vague bugs (“not working”)

  • Tests only happy paths

  • Avoids data validation

  • Treats Salesforce like a black-box UI

Our Hiring Process

An AI-powered interview to assess your technical and problem-solving abilities through interactive questions and scenarios.
3 Peer Round
Meet with team members who will be your peers. This round focuses on technical skills, collaboration style, and cultural fit within the team.
4 Manager Round
An in-depth discussion with the hiring manager about your core skills, qualifications, and how you'll contribute to the team. We prefer in-person discussions as much as possible to get to know each other better and ensure a mutual fit.
5 Discussion with Founders (For senior positions)
A conversation with our founders focusing on culture fit, leadership potential, and your potential journey with Incresco. **For senior leadership roles:** This may include working at our office for 2-5 days to get sync with the team.
