Why This Role Exists

We’re looking for a Lead Full Stack Engineer who’s equally fluent in modern web development and the emerging AI/ML ecosystem. This role exists to own architecture, performance, and innovation across the stack — from React and Next.js to AWS, AI pipelines, and scalable backend infrastructure.

You will lead a high-performing engineering team, set technical direction, and bring cutting-edge technologies (AI agents, vector databases, LLM integrations, and ML-powered features) into production-grade applications.

What You’ll Actually Do

• Define and drive the end-to-end technical vision across web, mobile, and AI systems

• Make architectural decisions balancing speed, scalability, and innovation

• Evaluate and integrate AI-driven frameworks, vector databases, and real-time inference APIs

• Lead development of web and mobile applications using React, Next.js, Astro, React Native, and Node.js

• Build intelligent features using LangChain, OpenAI/Gemini APIs, Hugging Face models, or custom ML pipelines

• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to integrate model outputs into user-facing applications

• Architect and deploy scalable systems using AWS (Lambda, EC2, ECS, S3, API Gateway, EventBridge)

• Implement CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CDK), and observability best practices

• Optimize infrastructure for cost, latency, and high availability

• Design and manage REST and GraphQL APIs, integrating with AI inference services

• Manage hybrid data architectures including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, and vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate)

• Build event-driven and data-streaming systems (Kafka, EventBridge)

• Collaborate with Product, Design, and AI teams to translate ideas into production solutions

• Mentor engineers on modern frameworks, clean code practices, and AI tool adoption

• Stay updated on AI trends including agents, multimodal systems, RAG, and autonomous workflows

• Prototype and productionize AI-driven features for internal and customer-facing products

• Drive developer productivity, system maintainability, and security

Requirements (Core)

• 5+ years of full-stack development experience with at least 2+ years in technical leadership or architecture roles

• Strong expertise in React, Node.js, Next.js, and React Native

• Deep experience with AWS cloud services, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices

• Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB) and distributed systems

• Familiarity with LLMs, LangChain, vector databases, AI APIs, and ML-powered workflows

• Strong problem-solving, system design, and leadership capabilities

• Excellent communication skills to align technical and business stakeholders

• Experience working in agile, fast-paced environments

Good to Have

• Experience with TypeScript, GraphQL, Tailwind CSS, and Storyblok or similar headless CMS

• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, serverless frameworks, and observability tools

• Exposure to AI orchestration frameworks such as CrewAI, LangGraph, and Dust

• Familiarity with testing frameworks, performance tuning, and MLOps pipelines

• Hands-on experience with AI-driven analytics dashboards or automated code assistants
